My second blog entry coming your way to update you on recent developments at Lower Trengale Farm Holiday Cottages.
Welcome to Salsa!
First of all I would like to introduce you to the newest member of the family, Salsa the miniature Shetland pony. Salsa is an absolute treasure of a pony, full of personality and with a gentle soul, Salsa is anyones if you give him a polo (please do not feed Salsa polos!!). Salsa loves being brushed and spoilt a little, he equally loves rolling around in our meadow after it’s been a little wet and is known to be coated in mud! Salsa should be with us for the foreseeable and it has been a pleasure to get to know him over the last few weeks. We hope we’ll be able to introduce you to him when you visit.
Other news, we have been beavering away to build our new and improved laundry room and shop. As soon as it is finished I will be posting photographs so you can see for yourselves. We will be operating an honesty shop selling essential bits that you may have forgotten to pack and some local offerings that you might fancy (seeing as you are on your holibobs!) If anyone has any thoughts as to what they would like to find in a shop like this please do let me know, any suggestions welcome!
We are gearing up to welcome our guests on 12 April 2021 and have 2 out of the 4 cottages booked for that first week. Please do get in touch if you would like to book the third and /or fourth. In terms of our availability, we have a fair bit in April and May and then we start to get busy in June, do check out our availability calendar for more info. If you would like a shorter break, I have good news, we will be taking 3 and 4 night stays from 16 April until 21 May 2021. Starting on a Thursday/Friday and leaving on Monday/Tuesday. The prices for the stays vary per cottage:
Loveny (sleeps 3): £250 (3 nights), £300 (4 nights)
Dozmary (sleeps 4): £300 (3 nights) £350 (4 nights)
Fowey (sleeps 7): £350 (3 nights), £400 (4 nights)
Golitha (sleeps 6): £350 (3 nights), £400 (4 nights)
Don’t forget that currently its only one family per cottage (this does not stop you booking a couple of cottages and enjoying the lovely open space around us here in Cornwall - perfect excuse for a well deserved reunion with your nearest and dearest). Feeling a little sad that we won’t have guests with us this Easter, we have grand ideas for Easter egg hunts and other niceties in the future! Fingers crossed we might all be back to some form of normality this time next year!

p.p.s. Confession time…it did not Snow at Lower Trengale Farm this morning (contrary to my social media post!) That was an April fool!! How many of you fell for it?
